The innovative design of Sand Dollar Pads allows you to smooth and prepare the floor’s surface for the next coat of finish, effectively preventing swirl marks. The foam backing of the pad ensures it glides over the surface without digging too deeply, resulting in a smoother floor.

Features & Benefits:

• Durability and Longevity: These pads are extremely durable and tear-resistant, with a lifespan of approximately 1500 square feet per pad. The aluminium oxide (A/O) grain bonded to the foam backing effectively abrades the finish, producing a fine scratch pattern. This ensures a great-looking finish without the adhesion problems that improper abrasion can cause.
• Easy Maintenance: The pads resist loading but can be easily cleaned by vacuuming or rinsing with water, allowing them to be reused. They function similarly to screens or maroon pads and can be used with a white or maroon pad as a driver. Suitable for oil, water, or acid-cured finishes, these pads are not recommended for pre-finished floors. The cut-outs in the pad facilitate dust extraction and reduce loading.
• Ease of Use: Unlike traditional PSA strips that can tear, curl, and leave adhesive residue, or hook and loop strips that can scratch the finish, these pads eliminate the need for guesswork. There’s no need to determine the number of strips, the grit, or the placement on the pad, simplifying the process and ensuring consistent results.
