How to Use XPS Poly Medium Cure Polyaspartic Floor Coating

XPS Poly Medium Cure suits installers who want a quicker floor coating without moving to the shortest possible application window. Before opening the kit, confirm that the product is compatible with the concrete, epoxy or resin system beneath it.

Prepare the floor mechanically and remove dust, grease, laitance, sealers, loose coatings and other contamination. Repair cracks and surface defects before coating. The substrate must be dry, sound and ready to accept the new layer.

Plan the full application before mixing. Lay out the tools, divide the floor into workable areas and make sure the team knows who will mix, spread and back-roll. Temperature and mixed volume can shorten the working time, so only prepare the amount you can place promptly.

Combine equal volumes of Part A and Part B. Mix thoroughly at a controlled speed, scraping the sides and base of the container. Pour the mixed coating onto the floor, spread it evenly with a suitable applicator and back-roll while maintaining a wet edge.

Allow the coating to cure before reopening the area. The three to four-hour dry time is not the same as full return to service, so check the latest technical data sheet before allowing foot traffic, vehicles or chemical exposure.
